Duties of the college Rector
The director is responsible for the overall functioning of the institution, and in this capacity, he performs the following duties: · Represents the institution in legal matters and all civil affairs. · Exercises authority over all school staff. · Concludes all transactions, agreements, contracts, and accords in accordance with the prevailing regulations. · Ensures the implementation of the legislation and regulations in the field of education and teaching. · Prepares the school's budget proposal and presents it to the Board of Directors for discussion. · Is the approving authority for the college's budget expenditures. · Delegates signature authority to assistant directors, laboratory managers, and research unit heads, as needed. · Appoints college staff when no other method of appointment has been specified.< · Takes any necessary measures to improve the pedagogical and scientific activities of the college. · Ensures the enforcement of the school's internal regulations, which he drafts and submits for approval by the Board of Directors. · Is responsible for maintaining security and discipline within the institution. · Issues diplomas under the authority delegated by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research. · Ensures the proper maintenance and preservation of the college’s archives in accordance with the applicable regulations.
